Neck Pain


Most people can expect to experience some neck pain in their lifetime, although for the majority, neck pain will not seriously interfere with normal activities.


The causes of neck pain are numerous and varied. It can be the result of poor posture, occupational environments (RSI), road traffic accidents or trauma from recreational activities, to name but a few. 

Whiplash is a common cause of neck pain which chiropractors consult for in clinic. You may suffer from pins & needles down one arm as a result of neck trauma. 


Chiropractic spinal manipulative therapy has been proven to successfully treat acute (up to 6 wks), sub-acute (6-12 wks) and chronic (12 wks +) neck pain. (Bronfort et al, 2010)
