Shockwave Therapy
Conditions and symptoms we can treat with shockwave therapy:

How is shock wave treatment performed?
Once your clinician takes a detailed case history, they then localise the pain region by palpation before applying gel to the treatment area to allow the shock waves to be introduced into the body without any loss of energy. After these preparations, shock waves are applied as the therapy head is moved over the pain region.
How many treatments are necessary and how successful is the therapy?
Each therapy session takes around 20 minutes. With a success rate of up to 90%, an average of 4 to 6 treatments at weekly intervals can make a huge difference in recovering from injuries or chronic pain. After only 1 to 2 sessions, many patients report a noticeable reduction in pain.
What's the difference between radial and focused shockwave therapy?
We are one of the only clinics in Yorkshire to offer both radial and focused shockwave therapy machines.
