Dizziness

Dizziness may make you feel wobbly on your feet like the room is spinning and can even make you physically nauseous.

There are many potential causes of dizziness. Two common causes that we treat in the clinic are:

  • Cervicogenic dizziness: dizziness provoked by certain head movements.

  • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV): tiny hair cells in the inner ear that have been irritated by trauma. Vertigo is the most common symptom.

Symptoms of dizziness that arise from these two causes can be treated with chiropractic therapy. One common technique we use to treat BPPV is the Epley’s maneuver.
